Lynette Clunies-Ross

Lynette Clunies-Ross

Chief Operating Officer, SAS Australia and New Zealand

Lynette Clunies-Ross joined SAS in 2012 as the Chief Operating Officer for SAS Australia and New Zealand. With over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry, Lynette is a proven and innovative business leader with a unique blend of deep technology, business and operational expertise. Lynette has strategic priority ownership of the SAS Innovation Agenda and Academic Outreach Program. This ownership ties in with her passion of seeing a greater adoption of STEM in Australia, which will underpin the innovation required for our nations’ future prosperity.

Andrew Condron

Andrew Condron

General Manager - Customer Analytics, Telstra

Leading the analytics and information management function at Telstra, Andrew has a broad background of experiences including front line sales management and operations. His specialities are credit card and banking analytics; direct marketing and CRM; business intelligence; information management; credit scoring; and sales management. Andrew was the previous Head of Customer Analytics at ANZ.

Tania Foster

Tania has over 25 years of experience across different regions, companies (NAB, ANZ, BHP, Pacific Dunlop and Chartered Accounting) and industries including mining, manufacturing, professional services, transport, engineering, utilities and financial services. Tania is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and is the NAB representative on the BPAY Board.

Michael Gassmann

Michael manages the Customer & Pricing Team for personal insurance products for all Suncorp brands, including AAMI, Suncorp, GIO, and APIA. Michael has been responsible for the introduction of several innovative firsts in personal lines pricing in Australia, including individual address peril-based risk rating and individual customer price optimisation.

Jenny George

Dr Jenny George has been the CEO of Converge International since January 2016 and a board member of Converge since 2014. She previously held a number of posts at Melbourne Business School (University of Melbourne) including Dean, Associate Dean – Academic Programs and the Director of the Master of Business Analytics. She joined MBS after undertaking PhD studies at Stanford University where she explored a problem in queueing theory of a queue with adjustable service rates. Jenny has previously held board appointments at Ridley College and Ansvar Insurance and is currently an advisory board member at JC Dahlsens, a hardware retailer.

 

Emma Gray

Emma has international industry expertise in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), retail, logistics, manufacturing and financial services. In addition, she has strong functional expertise in strategy, business development, mergers and acquisitions, consumer insights, sales and multi-channel strategy. Her most recent appointment was with Woolworths as Chief Loyalty and Data Officer. Previously, Emma was Partner for Bain & Company, one of the world’s leading business consulting firms. She most recently headed the Australian Retail and Consumer Goods practice.

Dr Greg Hill

Gregory leads the analytics practice providing consulting services and creating innovative solutions for clients at Brightstar, a global business providing diversified services to participants in the wireless industry. His team has applied advanced analytics techniques to tackle client problems spanning marketing, pricing, supply chain optimisation, portfolio management, fraud, retail sales and operations, customer relationship management, insurance and leasing.

 

Lawrence Jackson

Lawrence Jackson is a management and marketing consultant with a special interest and passion for the philanthropic and charitable sector. He has served in a full time or consulting capacity to more than 45 organisations including leading not-for-profit organisations such as Vision Australia, University of Sydney, Multiple Sclerosis Limited, Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children, Benevolent Society, Royal Blind Society and many others. In addition, he has worked as an adjunct member of faculty at the Australian Graduate School of Management and the University of Technology, Sydney. Lawrence has also acted as an arts consultant and producer. He is currently serving as General Manager, Revenue and Brand for the National Heart Foundation.

With over 30 years’ experience as a researcher, Michele has been responsible for thousands of surveys and was instrumental in the development of Roy Morgan Single Source, the world’s leading consumer research study. Since her appointment as CEO of Australia’s largest independent research company in 1992, Michele has been responsible for the launch of Roy Morgan Single Source in other markets, and is driving the impressive global growth of the Company in major markets such as the USA and UK.

Brooke Miller

Brooke Miller is the Chief Financial Officer for BP Asia Pacific. After receiving an MBA from Melbourne Business School, Brooke joined BP and has held a variety of roles including General Manager for Elite Customer Solutions, Regional Director for BP Solar Australasia, and General Manager of BP Bitumen Australia. Brooke's career started in landscape architecture and town planning. Following university, she was involved in the design and construction of commercial scale projects for the best part of a decade.

Enrico is a partner and leads A.T. Kearney’s Procurement & Analytics Solutions Practice for Asia Pacific, where he is also a member of the Consumer & Retail and Energy & Process Industries Practices. Having worked in senior positions for leading organisations, he brings a pragmatic approach to change and value delivery. Prior to A.T. Kearney, Enrico served as vice president of a supply management consultancy and successfully ran various business units over a 17-year career at leading Australian industrial companies.

Ken Roberts is a serial innovator of advanced analytics methods, being granted patents in the USA and Australia for his work.  With a duel lens on survey and organisational data, Ken seeks to address organisations’ vital questions: how to efficiently gain and retain market share and how to drive communications efficacy. For over 20 years, Ken has led Forethought to be ranked the most commercially effective and innovative marketing growth consultancy in Australia. Ken has published extensively in prominent industry journals, twice in the prestigious Marketing Science Journal, and has been lauded internationally for his contribution to driving organisational growth.

Antony Ugoni

Global Director of Matching & Artificial Intelligence, SEEK
MSc (La Trobe)

Prior to joining SEEK, Antony worked at National Australia Bank leading many ground-breaking teams and projects including the Credit Card Fraud Analytics Group (the first of its kind in Australia) which used data-driven insights to reduce fraud losses by more than 50 percent. In addition, he led the Customer Analytics team which identified more than $100 billion worth of revenue opportunities during his tenure. Antony has co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed articles in medical research and continues to teach in the School of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne.
