2019 Melbourne Business Analytics Datathon
Team registrations are now being accepted for the 3rd annual Melbourne Business Analytics Datathon. The Datathon will showcase how advanced analytics can 'transform decision making' with more than 250 competitors battling it out to come up with creative solutions to challenges using government and corporate data. Finalist teams will present their pitches at the Melbourne Business Analytics Conference finale for a chance at the $25,000 prize money.
Who should register?
The Datathon is aimed at both corporate and student teams with not only advanced analytics and data science capabilities, but the ability to generate and communicate insight to ‘transform decision making’. The total prize money is $25,000, including a student team prize of $5,000.
The event will be held at Melbourne Business School and kicks off Saturday 24 August, culminating with the finalists’ pitches at the finale of the Melbourne Business Analytics Conference on Tuesday 3 September. See the Datathon website for further details.
